This is a good Warmouth taxidermy fish mount mounted to a piece of driftwood, posed with an open mouth and swimming to the viewer's right side. This bass measures in at 10.5", with a girth of 9", and a live weight around .75 lbs. All this combined with great craftsmanship earns this item our Excellent overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

- There is a hanger already attached to the back of this item.

- It will hang on a single drywall screw.

- This is a traditional skin taxidermy mount.

Animal description

About the Warmouth (Lepomis gulosus)

The Warmouth is native and found throughout the eastern United States. They are most abundant in the Mississippi Drainage basin near the Gulf of Mexico. This is freshwater species characterized by its dark mottled brown coloring with a golden belly. These fish are a member of the sunfish family Centrarchidae and resemble that in their size. They are on average 4-10 inches and can weigh up to 2 lbs. They are primarily aquatic insectivores but also feed on crayfish and even some smaller fish species.
